FRUIT AND VEG – It’s Magic !!!
Many of us are looking for more energy and I have found that hitting the magic target of 5 Fruit and veg a day has resulted in the high-energy boost I have been looking for.
The 5-a-day guideline means at least five in a day. It does not just have to be fresh; you can count Frozen and Tinned (Chose in water for lower calories).
This is a great source of vitamins, minerals and fibre. They are nutritious and filling and they make a great low calorie snack.
Here are some examples of 1 of your 5-a-day:-
- A Large slice of pineapple
- 3 heaped tbsp. chopped Veg
- bowl of salad
- 1 medium apple
- 1 medium pear
